Build for the constraint
Design for the worst phone and the weakest signal. Everything better is a bonus.
We build platforms for grassroots sport and first-time filmmakers — the ninety percent of talent that never gets recorded, ranked or seen because nobody ever built the software for it.
Gully cricket runs on WhatsApp groups and memory. GullySport gives it a record: tournaments that run themselves, squads that keep their history, player rankings scored on performance, and rewards players can actually spend.
Film school is expensive, urban and small. GullyReels is a route in without one: neighbourhood hubs with real equipment, mentors who have made things, and a showcase that puts first films in front of an audience.
A fast bowler in a Warangal gully and a film student in Mumbai have the same ability and wildly different odds — because one of them has a transcript and the other has nothing anyone can look up.
We don't coach, scout or produce. We build the infrastructure that makes what someone already did verifiable — a match result, a finished film, a season's form. Talent is not the scarce thing.
Our users are outdoors, on basic Android phones, on patchy networks. That constraint shapes every decision — including using WhatsApp as a distribution channel rather than fighting it.
That is a design constraint before it is a market. Photographs of minors are never published, dates of birth are never shown, and contact details stay with the organizer who needs them. Those limits are enforced in our security rules, not left to whoever is editing.
Sport and film look unrelated until you notice both are gatekept by who gets recorded. The same infrastructure — identity, verified achievement, a public profile worth showing — serves both.
Design for the worst phone and the weakest signal. Everything better is a bonus.
We collect what a feature genuinely needs and nothing else. Especially from children.
A deploy that reports success isn't proof. We check the live system, every time.
A district that works beats a country that doesn't. Depth first, then spread.
Small team, no agencies. The people who design it are the people who run it.
Early-stage companies are tempted to round up. We'd rather be trusted later.
If you're an investor, a partner, or someone who wants to run tournaments or a hub in your district — we'd like to hear from you.
